We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. As an Accountant at Erudite Technologies, you will play a vital role in managing our financial records, ensuring accuracy, and providing valuable insights to drive the company’s success.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Perform month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Conduct regular audits of financial transactions, identifying any discrepancies or irregularities and resolving them promptly.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing accurate financial data and analysis to support decision-making.
Monitor and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, assist in cost analysis, and support business initiatives.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in accounting and finance, ensuring compliance and suggesting improvements where necessary.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Professional certification such as CA/CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is a plus.
